COMPOSITE TRIMMER

Working hours: 8.00am - 5.30pm Mon-Fri

Location: Colchester, Essex

In this role the successful candidate will be responsible for trimming carbon fibre and glass fibre components to drawings or manuals, meeting the relevant specifications and tolerances required.

Job Requirements:

- Competency in trimming carbon fibre mouldings
- Highlighting issues and improvements.
- Checking and using correct issue documentation for assigned tasks.
- Maintaining and providing own hand tools required as per Reverie equipment lists.
- Shop floor data collection and identification of all parts produced.
- Quality of work to required specifications.
- Working to company procedures and standards.
- Working to deadlines and operational target times.
- Responsible for maintaining service and correct location of production tools and jigs.
- Ensure immediate feedback is provided to direct manager where customer satisfaction or Health & Safety may be threatened.
- Health & Safety of themselves and others affected by their work.
- Cleanliness of the trim room, fitting room and general areas.

Skills / Knowledge / Experience required:

- At least 3 years of composite trimming experience (preferably automobile industry)
- We may consider anyone with competent in the use of air tools in comparable jobs.
- Demonstrable competency composite trimming
Ability to read and understand Engineering Drawings.
